 WEEK 1

This week we talk about our some movie titles. By watching examples of The Night Manager and Around the World in 80 days we talk about them narrative and semiotics. Mostly of titles for films and tv series contain some stories or symbols made in various way as patterns, transparent, or changing in different objects or scenarios. One of my favourite title is from tv series Westworld.

Lately, in After Effects we worked on layers. By creating them we play how to animate them, twist or rotate.

By pressing stop watch and positions in 3 sec later animate travel from left to right side. Also, by using motion blur making this travel more accurate.

The white circle moves across the screen from left to right, leaving disappearing marks in its wake. Sagittarius is looking for a target. Finally he finds a candidate to be shot. The point of view turns out to be the picturesquely threaded interior of the rifle barrel. The man at gunpoint suddenly turns to face the assassin and fires a shot. The screen flushes red, the barrel begins to sway, the white circle at the end widens across the screen, revealing the first shot of the prologue of the next James Bond movie. After a spectacular preview, there is something that distinguishes Bonds from all film series in the world and from every screen cinematographic product. Narratively, it's nothing like that, because Bond's headlines are far from being integrated into the action of the film, such as in the phenomenal prologue of the Lord of Life and Death, where the viewer watches the bullet's path from the factory to the head of an African kid. The eye-catching opening credits of Bond films are rather sensual overtures, stylish trinkets full of naked women playing with firearms among the visual leitmotifs characteristic of the subject of the work, flowing through the screen to the rhythm of songs tailored to current music trends.
Films about agent 007 are a piece of cinema history. It is unique on a global scale, and tradition obliges. Within its framework, for almost 50 years, the Bonds' lead scenes have remained something constant, unchanging and cared for, regardless of which actor has his five minutes as Her Majesty's agent.

This week by using this assets presentedbelow from blackboard we were making a sequence in After Effects inspiring by David Craig Bond films.

By combining those three images and creating layers during the lecture we develop some basic layer effects. Some of examples below:

Later we play with another 3 images and flames animation downloaded from mitchmartinez website. Firstly, by pressing G and using pen tool we marked scull around to delete the white background.

The next step was to add another picture place it using scale tool and set up transparency to view only eyes, mouth and nose.

 WEEK 3

Color keying allows to choose any color in your video to make it transparent so that you can see the video clip (or other path) underneath it. For example, weather presenters are often filmed against a green screen, then the green screen is replaced with a video of the weather map. This popular effect is sometimes referred to as chromatic (color) keying. For best results, the color of the background to be removed is uniform and there is good lighting when capturing the subject.

By using filmed at University footage we tested key-light in the effects section. First thing is to upload files in After Effects. Later by clicking in effects setting tool click on the background and next choose matte to correct black an whites.

Making shapes and place body silhouettes and choose in mode invert matte do have only shadow of the body.

Also duplicating all footage and replace them on positions to present in the shapes. Lately added another footage with walking and passing case.

 WEEK 4

After Effects - Tracking.

Started with download footage provided on blackboard. Lately by using pen tool marked face and go to tracking setting on the left hand side and switch on track camera and wait for any lazing the background. Since solving camera is done you can also changed it manually.

This was to achieve best possible way to tracking pyramides. By making to layers and assign masks its same procedures like first one but instead using pen in tracker we need to track camera and wait since is done. Lately you can also manually change it. 

On this screenshoot presented travel from tracker from where to where is travelling.

 WEEK 5

Tracking continued and working with After Effects 3D Space

This week we looked again into tracing camera tools. By going to tracking section we choose perspective corners pin and then analyse it. After we also replace target for Adidas logo.

The next task was to using same technique but instead brand logo I choose random graffiti I found online. I apply jpg to Photoshop and use wound magic tool to make it transparent and have rob only. Later save it as and and attached into frame window in the middle of the centre of shoot.

 WEEK 6

This week we looked into 3D text and lighting techniques in After Effects. Firstly by creating two solid layers one white second red one recreated for of platform and place 3D text and lightining source and animate direction of this light later.

By creating text. Set up to match correctly our platform. Later choose colour of our light and play with directions.

The next thing it was to using shatter effects and play with physics and reposition setting in force 1 and 2 in the shatter shelves section.

This time I was trying to add reflection and I used HDRI image I found on internet.

This week we investigate very detailed Arnold render settings. Welooked into Render setting and Active AOVs: AO. crypto assets, objects, material, diffuse, specular, transmission, wireframe.

 WEEK 8

Create high-quality 3D content from digital photos

​

Thanks to Agisoft Metashape, you can build spectacular three-dimensional models without the use of specialized equipment. Agisoft Metashape performs photogrammetric processing of digital photos and generates three-dimensional spatial data that can be used, among others, in GIS applications, documentation of cultural heritage (e.g. architecture) and for creating visual effects, as well as for indirect measurements of objects of various sizes.

The technique of digital photogrammetry supported by computer vision methods allows you to take advantage of an intelligent automated processing system. Its main advantage is that it can be operated both by a person not having too much experience in the field of photogrammetry and by a specialist who is able to adapt the working process to numerous specific applications and various types of data.

Im planning my sequence with using a bit of images of current Tv news. Possibly I may use some (both) Russian and US military mixing with some videos for free use. Ending of my sequence will be full of patterns (possibly form pictures used on the beginnng) and coming into another ones (smilliair as The Sinner Tv series) and finally 007 logo on the last end.

 WEEK 14

I used Houdini for making energy sphere. There are some screenshots and video of my work:

Play with nosises. I brought two cirkles merge them together and add scatter and transformation. I aslo Play a lot with values to get final effcts.

Lately I added colour and mulitiply noise effect added on sphere. Im considering using this effects for my final sequence.

On this image I added two pictures and used some of 4K fire high res I found on internet for free. Then Make if substract and play with settings and make It that ech layer was transparent as well.

For shiluattes I use Keylighting plugin we using in the Week 3 and make some adjusments into colours and added to another shiluettes animation I did while ago.
