ISO is simply the sensitivity of the matrix (or film in analog cameras) to light and it depends on the camera we have. My Nikon D750 has a sensor sensitivity of 100 to 12800, but other cameras have an ISO range of 100 to 1600, and some cameras have ISO speeds as low as 50. ISO helps you to "brighten" the photo. If the lighting conditions are poor and everything in your photo comes out dark, you can raise the ISO to 800 and above.
Aperture, Its value (size) determines how much light will enter through the lens. The darker it is in the place where we want to take the photo, the more light we need to see what we want to capture in the photo. So we need to let in more light. So what does the aperture have to do with it? The aperture is nothing but a hole through which light enters. The larger the opening, the more light enters, the smaller the less.
Shutter Speed (S, or shutter) helps us in several situations. Specifically, this is the amount of time we allow the light to reach the photosensitive matrix. The longer the time we set, the more light will fall in. Its possible to stop motion or blur it. While photographing, for example, sports and you want to stop a runner, cyclist or even in nature stop a bird in flight or an animal on the run. Then the time of stutter speed should be set to a minimum of 1/250 and above. If you want to blur the movement and show that that runner is running, you are increasing the time. The longer the time, the more blurry the motion.
WEEK 2
Introduction to Photography Part 2
Comprehensive guide depicting a broad range of camera shots and angles:
The extreme close-up that can be seen to display the frame. He often shows his eyes, mouth, and gun triggers. In extreme close-ups, small objects are very detailed and form the focal point.
Extreme close-up shot (ECU)
Close-up shot (CU)
It tightly frames an actor's or models face, making their reaction the main focus in the frame.
There are examples of my work with some models.
This is examples of my portrait shoot during filming feature film Mission of Honor dir by D. Blair. Picture presented an actor Ivan Rheon (Game of Thrones)
Medium close-up shot (MCU)
a shot that frames the subject from just above their head down to about midway on their torso
Medium shot (MS)
is a type of camera shot in film and television that shows an actor approximately from the waist up.
Long shot (LS)
A long shot is essentially the same as a wide shot.
Very long shot (VLS)
The subject almost covers the frame from top to bottom in a long shot.
Extreme long shot (ELS)
is a long shot that covers a wider area. It is also known as an extreme wide shot (EWS).

WEEK 4
Storytelling can also be called narrative. Its meaning can be described in a short "art of storytelling", because that's what it really boils down to. It is an extremely effective tool and can definitely be considered the biggest challenge for those who work on photography or film
Tania Franco Klein, Mexico – Long Story Short.‘It is in the emptiness of the countryside that one can situate an encounter of an old lifestyle that still waits for its abandonment and containment, reflecting the new growth of a central capitalist system. The drifters and travellers, all passing through some state of nothingness, that share private moments in public spaces, are a clear example of the ephemeral, crowded, and at the same time almost empty, leftovers of contemporary cities’

WEEK 5
A storyboard is nothing more than a storyboard in the form of drawings, which is a guide for people making the film. It represents what is happening in the video, from the first scene to the last. The images contain captions and additional notes, making the finished storyboard look like a comic book. A storyboard for a short video, such as an advertisement, is usually drawn by hand
In storyboards by Chris Buchinsky, Spidey battles Doc Ock on a speeding train in the climax of Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man 2.
Workshops week:
Those two pictures I choose from many we did on that day. I felt these two presenting in best way what we was trying to achieve during workshop practice.
For my assessment one I choose to shooting Richmond community and Richmond Park. This place have an amazing history.
History/background Richmond upon Thames.
In the early 16th century, the Rychemonde Manor, which is now Richmond upon Thames, was rebuilt by Henry VII in the neighborhood known as Sheen. This is how Richmond Palace was created. After 1649, the palace was no longer used and most of it was destroyed. Today's remnants are Wardrobe, Trumpeter's House and Gate House. After the industrial revolution, Richmond was starting to become a city. The population here grew significantly in the 18th century, and even faster in the 19th century when the railroad appeared.
Britain's largest brick park - Richmond Park, which is three times the size of Central Park. It is also the largest royal park. In 1637 it was closed to the public so that Charles I could freely hunt deer there. An equally famous park is Kew Gardens with a botanical garden. It is located on the site of the former royal estate. Thanks to the fact that Richmond upon Thames left behind so many of its old buildings, it has remained a charming place that is still eagerly visited today.

WEEK 11
Thomas Eakins (1844–1916), America’s greatest, most uncompromising realist, dedicated his career to depicting the human figure—in oil and watercolor, sculpture and photography. Eakins was born in Philadelphia in 1844. He was enrolled at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts from 1862 to 1866, attended anatomy lectures at Jefferson Medical College, and profited from contact with Philadelphia’s art collections, exhibitions, and artists. Arriving in Paris for study in 1866, Eakins was in the vanguard of young painters who would shift the focus of American art from landscape to the figural subjects favored by the European academies. After almost three years of instruction in France, principally at the École des Beaux-Arts under Jean-Léon Gérôme (1824–1904) and briefly with the portraitist Léon Bonnat (1833–1922), and a winter working in Spain, Eakins returned to Philadelphia in July 1870. From boyhood, he had himself been athletic; as an ambitious, original young artist intent on portraying the world around him, he embraced as subjects the activities that he himself enjoyed, which provided opportunities to demonstrate his technical skill.

Task below was to capture whats around us and using it for short animation with telling a story. I walk around University. I put my iphone on the brick and capture randome walking man with a headphones. Lately I went to cafe to get a lunch and I photographed my walk and walk in to the restaurant. Lately I place phone on the table put jucice in fornt of it to find a way to capture running amount of the juck in the cup. Fo most of it I trust my hadns and keep the phone all the time with my hands (no tripod) Weakness of this is that sometimes you may break the flow of your animation.
The pictures below I did in the Oxfam store around the University. The Idea was to connect the random walking man with the headphones with vinyls in the Oxfam store. Below you can see the final results of that shooting.

Tarnica Mountain
History background:
Tarnica (1,346 m above sea level)
This is the highest peak of the Polish part of the Bieszczady Mountains, but not the highest in the entire Bieszczady Mountains. The first place is Pikuj (1,408 m above sea level), located on the Ukrainian side of the mountains. The name of the peak comes from the Romanian language and is directly related to its characteristic, saddle shape, at the bottom of which is the Tarnica Pass (1275 m above sea level). In Romanian, the word "tarniţa" translates as "saddle", "mountain pass". There are several interesting facts related to Tarnica.
Cross
The characteristic cross at the top is not the first one that was installed there (it is the third version of the cross). The first cross (from 1978) to stand there, which is now located in Halicz. The second, larger cross, erected in its wake (in 1987), was broken by the wind. Its new, enhanced version (launched in 2000) can be seen at the top to this day.
Final Video:
For my Assessment 2 we went to the top of Tarnica in Bieszczady Mountains, Poland. The entire route took over 3 hours to go down. During the trek to the top, I used drone shots, photographs and short films, which I converted below. A total of about 1760 frames. The final project is about 3 minutes of video. I used a paid stop motion application. I added free music from the bundle that was included.
Script for the Final Animation:
Reflection.
I created my Animation during our visit in Bieszczady Mountains. I used daylight and it was one day shot. The whole idea was created by me 2 weeks before we planned this trip. The weather in the mountains is unpredictable. So I was not sure to the day we planned. For editing this animation I used Stop Motion App. I captured all images on Sony a7s. All images were hand shots. We I planned this animation I thought it will be nice to share my love with hiking and discovering new mountain top. Online I found only few animation with Mountains so I didn't inspired much form others. It was my original idea. During this creation I have a lot fun and creative way to developer my skills even more. It was crucial because for the first time I used drone. Originally I wanted to do some other animation but I felt hiking could be more interested for the viewers. I was afraid about very short period time to finalize this.
In conclusion I feel that some of images I could do better because we have 3 hours before storm I couldn't risk to spend more time to do better shots. But overall I'm very happy with the last end results.
